I've done some studying of the Roman and Byzantine Empires, but these this book added to and tir\d up thing I had learned in class. I am using it in the current class on the Roman Empire I am taking now.
A very much different look at the beginnings of the Romans. The twins are explained much better than typically taught in schools and how it took many centuries to actually fall into place as that which we have come to know.
