I'm wondering if there will be other stories, or possibly a novel, coming in the future featuring Julia, Sam, and Brinn, oh yes, and Jasper, and their evolving relationship. I wouldn't mind re-visiting Lilac Creek.If you enjoy dogs, drama, and feel-good, happy endings and have a free evening ahead of you, this story would be a good use of a couple of hours. Recommended.

YES,it is a tearjerker and also extremely heart warming. This is a story of a man in an accident, a dog lost, a child that lost her mom and hasn't talked since, a lady that found the dog and the father with the little girl that lives next door to the lady that found the dog. Yes, you may think you know what happens, but you really don't. So check it out, and you will see why it is a tearjerker and warm to the heart.
What a wonderful short dog story! It is a love story between an old man and a dog, between a little girl and a dog and how this one dog shows so much love for each!!!
This simple little book shares a happy ending story and also provides a hidden message for all pet owners. Make end of life plans that include who will be willing to take ownership and responsibility for your pets should anything happen to you.
What a heartwarming story. I totally enjoyed it. I love dogs and the added happy story of the young girl made it even better.
I really enjoyed this book. I often found myself smiling in parts and wincing in others. Being a dog lover it was a story that touched my heart.
There were times during this book that I could not wait to get to the next page. It was such a loving story.
